Sampled from tap at Meibockfestival Amsterdam 2016. Clear, reddish amber with a medium large, creamy, slowly diminishing, tan head. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, some raisins, brown sugar and nuts. Sweetish-malty taste of caramel, raisins, brown sugar and nuts, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Tap at the Brouwcafe, Scheveningen. Poured a hazy medium to dark amber with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is light yeast, sweet fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a malt alcohol liqourice bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. On tap at PINT Meibockfestival ’13. Pretty sure this is the same as Pelgrim Provenier Dubbellam. Hazy orange/amber colour, white head. Aroma is quite sweet, young, ripe fruits, floral, yeasty, hint of plastic, honey. Flavour is medium-sweet, light malty, honey, yeasty, fruity, bitter yeasty and hoppy finish, almost nutty. Light to medium-bodied.
