Our Milk Stout is beer as comfort food, basically a slice of chocolate cake and a glass of milk combined into a multi-layered adult beverage. It pours an impenetrable onyx with a tight, light brown head, and emits enticing aromas of milk sugar, chocolate and graham crackers. The alcohol is low but the complexity is high, as the decadent milk and chocolate flavors give way to a surprisingly hoppy bitterness and a clean, coffee and cream finish.

Not very sweet. Dark black. Thin tan head. Lacing. Milk up front. Pretty hoppy for a sweet stout. I dig that its lower alcohol. Good, not great.

Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Poured Very dark brown with a large tan head that settled fairly quickly. Noes of ash, chocolate and a lot of roasted malts. Medium in body. Smooth in the mouth. The flavor is predominately roasted malts, but there is much with citrus, chocolate, some nuts, vanilla, coffee, and some light smoke. The finish is grapefruit rind and bitter chocolate. Very easy drinking. Very nice beer.

Bomber from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Black with a decent tan head. Moderate lacing. Smoke, roast, and ash are smelled. Chocolate is light in the aroma and bigger in the flavor. I get a big grapefruit dry bitterness in the after taste and it is unpleasant in its prominence. Occasionally some fudge chocolate pops in and there is some vanilla. Towards the finish that bitterness faded somewhat but not enough. I like everything here except for the hops.

Black pour from 22oz bottle at home. White thin head. Graham cracker, milk, chocolate and malt. Not bad for the low ABV

On tap @ Bike Dog. Very dark brown colored beer with khaki foam. Theres a good bit of toasted, nutty malts. Some cocoa powder, sweet vanilla, and hazelnut. Moderate roast and coffee, too. Light roasted malt and coffee bitterness to the flavor. Sweetness is there, but relatively mild. Easy drinking beer.

Pours a thin head on a black body. The aroma is rich chocolate, coffee, milk, roasted malt and toast. Nice. The taste is a great profile of roasted malt, bitter lemon and coffee, milk and chocolate. The texture is smooth with low carbonation. Aside from the lack of head this is a great stout.

nitro - Solid representation of the style. Dark dark brown, good amounts of roast coffee and chocolate. The smoothness suggest more than 5.5%. Loved trying all the variations of this..."
