16 oz pour on draft at Bike Dog. Black with light tan head. Aromas of roasty notes, dark and milk chocolates. Tastes of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, malt. Medium body with a dry finish. gregwilsonstl (2452) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 28, 2016
Not very sweet. Dark black. Thin tan head. Lacing. Milk up front. Pretty hoppy for a sweet stout. I dig that its lower alcohol. Good, not great. bb (9241) - Alamo, California, USA - AUG 16, 2016
Bottle. Black beer with a light tan head. Light roast and malt aroma. Light roast and malt flavor with light lactose. Medium bodied. Light roast and malt linger with light lactose and light coffee. hayduke (5187) - Eureka, California, USA - MAR 21, 2016
Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Poured Very dark brown with a large tan head that settled fairly quickly. Noes of ash, chocolate and a lot of roasted malts. Medium in body. Smooth in the mouth. The flavor is predominately roasted malts, but there is much with citrus, chocolate, some nuts, vanilla, coffee, and some light smoke. The finish is grapefruit rind and bitter chocolate. Very easy drinking. Very nice beer.

Bomber from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Black with a decent tan head. Moderate lacing. Smoke, roast, and ash are smelled. Chocolate is light in the aroma and bigger in the flavor. I get a big grapefruit dry bitterness in the after taste and it is unpleasant in its prominence. Occasionally some fudge chocolate pops in and there is some vanilla. Towards the finish that bitterness faded somewhat but not enough. I like everything here except for the hops. kaser (6209) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 5, 2016

On tap @ Bike Dog. Very dark brown colored beer with khaki foam. There’s a good bit of toasted, nutty malts. Some cocoa powder, sweet vanilla, and hazelnut. Moderate roast and coffee, too. Light roasted malt and coffee bitterness to the flavor. Sweetness is there, but relatively mild. Easy drinking beer. Fatehunter (2561) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - MAR 18, 2015
Pours a thin head on a black body.
The aroma is rich chocolate, coffee, milk, roasted malt and toast. Nice.
The taste is a great profile of roasted malt, bitter lemon and coffee, milk and chocolate.
The texture is smooth with low carbonation.
Aside from the lack of head this is a great stout.
