COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lazy Bird captures the essence of what it means to be an American Brown Ale. It pours a mahogany brown with a noticeable lemony yet roasty aroma, which comes from a heavy amount of cascade hops at the end of the boil as well as a generous amount of roasted barley in the mash. This combination of malt and hop intricacy makes for an enjoyable beer year round.

Pours up dark brown with a thick tan head, and plenty of lacing too. There is a little roasted malt, some nuttiness, and coffee in the aroma. The taste is a nice mix of roasty flavors, some nice malts, and a bit of earthy bitterness. Medium bodied with a medium finish. This is a great American Brown.

Darn good brown here. Amped up hops bill leaning heavily towards spiciness lends an earthy and spicy zest that really lifts this Brown above its competitors. Bright clean nose with hints if brown sugar. Copper colored with some lace and a small ring of offwhite head. Impressive.

APPEARANCE- pours carmely brown color with light head NOSE- nice malty sweetness is clean and refreshing. FLAVOR- simple, sweet and slightly toasty (as in roasty). Half way through the pint I start to pick up on more bittering hops. NOTES- great example of a brown ale thats just a brown ale and not trying to be something else too. Nicely done..
