2 month old pint can > stange
A: Pours 1" of tight tan foam atop a clear dark mahogany red tea colored body. Good retention and patchy lace.
S: Light scent overall of spicy hop notes and faint toffee. Very little roast or chocolate. A little Dr. Pepper.
T: Now THERE's a bit of chocolate underneath light fruity hops. Some citrus. Little sweetness.
M: Medium light with soft carbonation providing a smooth mouthfeel, finishing bitter with cocoa.
O: Pleased with this overall. Not too sweet, strong or burnt. At $9/4 pack pints an easy recommendation. Sammy (12596) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 4, 2017

UPDATED: MAY 19, 2017 Pours up dark brown with a thick tan head, and plenty of lacing. There is a little roasted malt, some nuttiness, and a hint of coffee in the aroma. The taste is a nice mix of roasty flavors, some nice malts, and a bit of earthy bitterness. Medium bodied with a medium finish. This is a great American Brown. freekyp (2387) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - APR 23, 2016
UPDATED: JUN 6, 2017 Darn good brown here. Amped up hops bill leaning heavily towards spiciness lends an earthy and spicy zest that really lifts this Brown above it’s competitors. Bright clean nose with hints of brown sugar. Copper colored with some lace and a small ring of off white head. Impressive. bnokk (538) - Lee, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 10, 2016
APPEARANCE- pours carmely brown color with light head NOSE- nice malty sweetness is clean and refreshing. FLAVOR- simple, sweet and slightly toasty (as in roasty). Half way through the pint I start to pick up on more bittering hops. NOTES- great example of a brown ale that’s just a brown ale and not trying to be something else too. Nicely done..
