I drank this brew at the Taco Mac in south park. It was a spicy saison, but other than the sharp yeast and spice notes it was pretty boring. I didnt pick up any crazy off flavors, but also nothing awesomely delicious.

(Draught) Pours a hazy yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma of grass, pepper, pear, barnyard, and herbs. Flavor of grass, dried herbs, straw, and pepper.

Cloudy golden amber pour with one finger of white head. Lots of stone fruit in the nose, pear flesh big time, light acidity, bread dough and yeasty notes. Spicy in flavor, some tropical fruits, very raw yeast character. Dry and light bodied.

Aroma - hay, cereal, herbs, barnyard, earthy, basement aromas. Appearance - hazy, amber, white foam. Taste - muted farmhouse spice, light sweetness with some malt and pitted fruits. Not bad, but kinda flat. Bitter, oily finish, as expected. This got waaaaayy more interesting when paired with slightly spicy food (swordfish tacos). I wouldn’t turn it down, but wouldn’t choose to order it again.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2014 On tap at Birdsong. Pours a hazy golden orange color with white head. Straw, spicy, yeasty, barnyard aromas. Straw, pear, somewhat tangy flavors. Something is off in this beer, aroma is nice, but taste is sorta tangy and weird.

TURDFERGUSON (4068) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUN 21, 2013
Tap at Beer Study a few weeks back. Pours a light blonde golden with a small off white head. Nose is fairly muted, some yeast and esters, light fruit. Similar flavor, pretty boring actually, I was surprised to see this listed as a saison.

Sampled on 10/12/12 at GABF. This Saison pours a light gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, yeasty and spicy. A medium bodied saison. The malts are fruity and sweet, yeasty and estery. The hops are herbal and spicy. Decent carbonation. A nice clean and crisp saison. Nice balance between the sweetness, spiciness and yeast. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly spicy.
