01/08 Draught at the brewpub. Poured dark brown body with small brownish head. Sourish hoppy unpasteurized aroma with lot of coffee. Flavor was coffee as well, with notes of other roasted malt flavors like caramel and burnt wood. Finish is slightly sour, but mostly sweet caramelly. Still it wasn’t nothing special to me, but it’s made better than pils. fiulijn (21470) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 26, 2007

Dark mahogany color. Delicate beer, with some chocolate and roasted malt traces. Correct beer.
I lost the original rating from the bottle, with Jens Ungstrup; we were both quite drunk in my small red apartment around Lausanne, after the Ouchy Beer Festival 2004; I had to wait 3 years before rating it again ;-)
Draught at the brewpub. -This beer was very pleasant surprise. Dark brown/ruby coloured, small beige head, slight coffee nose. Mild roasted coffee and slight chocolate aroma with toffee notes and nutty hints. Nice bittersweet finish. Ungstrup (38597) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 12, 2004
An opaque brown beer with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet malty and the flavor is slightly sour and malty. I don’t think it is supposed to be sour. Thanks to Alex (fiulijn) for sharing this one.
