Extremely dark orange body with a smooth off-white head. Spicy, hoppy aroma with grapes, mandarin, caramel, apricot. Light body, decent carbonation. Spicy and sour as well as bitter flavour with lots of grapefruit, crab apple, hazelnut and a herbal finish. Unique and delicious. Moretum (173) - Vienna, AUSTRIA, AUSTRIA - MAY 6, 2016
Bottle from BeerLovers, Vienna. Cloudy amber colour with a big, tan head. Aroma of fruits, sweet malts, bit citrousy. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, hops, citrus, fruits. Light sour, light to medium bitterness with a medium body and medium to high carbonation. I really appriciated it. Pinky77 (256) - - FEB 12, 2016
Hazy amber color with off-white head. Aroma has some fruity hops, even a bit of fruity tartness. There is also a light caramel malt undertone. Taste is also slightly tart and fruity, hoppy, slightly bitter on the finish. Medium to light body, good amount of carbonation. Quite good overall, just the tartness is a bit weird for the style. drjoeng (1355) - SINGAPORE - JAN 10, 2016
Poured out a brown Amber. 16ºSRM.
Nose has some nice pine, orange, tangerine sweetness but with a lemon tartness.
Mouthfeel is soapy. There are full-bodied roasted malt flavors of caramel, toffee, and a wonderful creme brulee sweet richness, this is accentuated by some nice vanilla hints. There is a beautifully rich sticky date pudding sweetness. There is marmalade palate with bitter, sweet, tangy and even the briefly alcholic tang of a wonderful Orange marmalade that I had made in Tasmania. There is also the palate of a single malt whisky with a slightly cloying mouthfeel, then a subtle smoky sweetness then it’s all in the back of throat and nose.Nutty and sweet like freshly roasted chestnuts.
The hop ride is bitter up front with a resinous hyssop like body, then sliding into bitter slightly herbaceous haze.
Finish is short medium and has the aftertaste of a macadamia chocolate chip cookie.
Goes on Favorites List! All times favorites list!! A real sleeper hit because I came at this one with zero expectations.

It pours a dark amber color with a large tan head. Aroma is citrousy, grassy, with soft notes of biscuit and caramel malts and apricots. Taste is similarly well balanced between the sweet caramel malt notes and the grassy floral citrousy hops. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Mister_Li (1472) - GERMANY - OCT 28, 2015
Trübes Bernstein mit durchschnittlicher Schaumkrone. Malzig, fruchtig, Zitrus, Grapefruit, süß, trockener bitterer Abgang. Istur (22) - ITALY - SEP 15, 2015
Tap. Amber with small head. Medium malt. Earthy, dry hop bitterness. A different take on the style. Interesting.
