Golden Ale.

Tap at Bir&Fud, Rome.

A very interesting "forest floor" and rose petal aroma (coming from Warrior hops, apparently) and then a complex bitter, malty and deliciously hoppy taste with lots of bitterness and fruity hop. Another lovely Del Borgo beer, but I’d say it’s more of an APA than a Saison?

BBE 01 2018. Kuparisen kellertävän semisamea, iso suht viipyvä hutera vaahto. Tuoksu perus sokeroitu belgiale, vaniljaakin? Suutuntuma liukas, alkoholilta tuntuva täyteläisä yläpää, joskin vetinen alarunko. Semiraikas, ihan ok juotava saison.

From 33cl bottle at a bar in Premilcuore, Italy. Pours somehow orange, with grossly grained white foam. Aroma is citrus, spicy, orange peel, and white pulp fruits. Body is average, with good carbonation. Taste is mostly bitter, with moderate sweetness. Finish is rather long and bitter.

R4N5H (1216) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 9, 2017
33cl bottle from a BeerHawk mixed case, enjoyed at home on 07-Jul-2017. Hazy golden pale colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast and hops. Taste of pale malts, grass, bread, lemon zest and floral hops. A nice refreshing hoppy golden ale.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Mildly, husky, grassy hoppy, slightly citrusy aroma, unspecific fruitiness. Taste is fruity, grassy, minimally husky and floral hoppy with a touch of citrus, hints of mandarine, mandarine zest, mirabelle.

martjoobolut (4471) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - APR 18, 2017
Bottle, BB 01.2018 (from SIP). Pours hazy golden with whiteish head. Aroma is sweet, lagerish, grainy, malty, fruity. Flavor is sweet and bitter, grains, grass, malt, sugar, some fruits, citrus, apricots, more lagerish notes. Finish has some dryness. Overall: would not call it a saison, but drinks decent nevertheless.

Tra il dorato e l'arancio opalescente, schiuma bianca di media persistenza. Aroma erbaceo e pepato decisi. Al palato sempre erbacea e pepata con un finale erbaceo con una nota lieve di crosta di pane. Ben carbonata, corpo leggero.

berkshirejohn (6522) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 17, 2017
33cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. A slightly hazy pale amber pour with a loose white head; citrusy aroma with some yeast; sweet grainy body with a well-balanced grassy bitterness; and a clean sourish finish. A rather good Saison.

Bozo_skeleton (1164) - Grenoble, FRANCE - MAR 13, 2017
Blonde doréepetite carbo, collet fin et dentelle fine Aromes portée sur les céréales, le citron et les fleurs Mince mais puissante en saveur qui tapissent le palais. Bon equilibre, manque un peu de longueur
