December 15, 2012 bottle shared by Brandon. Cloudy yellow pour with nice head. Aroma was earthy funk and slight spice. Taste was consistent with aroma. Not a bad saison / lambic mix, but flavors were just not that strong. BVery (10500) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - DEC 15, 2012
Bottle - thanks Brandon! Hazy yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is funky saison meets sour meets a touch of skunk, but its still good. Bright citrusy taste, sharp palate. Good stuff. mcmd (315) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - DEC 2, 2012
pours hazy orange with thick white head. Aroma is hay, lemon, sweat bread, yeast, funk. Taste is lemon, yeast, bready malt - exactly as billed a saison mixed with geuze. Enjoyed it. SudsMcDuff (8428) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - NOV 12, 2012
to call this a saison is a stretch .. . hazy dark gold .. . shampoo foam .. . light funky hay and earth, some tart yeast .. . another surprise outta that boot country .. . I’m glad I know sign language, it’s pretty handy. molly75 (301) - (Madrid - España), ITALY - OCT 29, 2012
giallo aranciato, velata
giallognola, media presenza, fine e buona persistenza

Pours orange-soapy, white head. Funky Brett aroma, basement, spice, and some fruits and spice. Flavor is sweet malt flavors but then leads a nice pleasant tartness and apple and pear like fruit flavors. Sparkling carbonation and dry. Very enjoyable farmhouse ale. burg326 (5482) - Florida, USA - OCT 19, 2012
Bought from the Brass Tap, bottle to go, only $9 what a steal. Poured a dark golden color with aromas of light hay, apples, and some light spice. Flavors are the same, light on the palate, interesting beer overall, i really liked the light sourness, with some nice spice. Steve_0 (3745) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 5, 2012
Bottle at home poured into my Hill Farmstead tulip. Appearance is hazy golden with a huge, long-lasting white head. Funky, dusty, citric acid, wheat, horse blanket, straw, green apple, and biscuit in the aroma. Taste is yeast, spice, lemon zest, citrusy hops, grass, white grapes, straw, and light acid with a medium tart finish. Mouthfeel is crisp with fizzy carbonation, ending very dry. Really nice beer; spicy, tart, bready, and fruity, almost gueuze-like. Well-done. hawthorne00 (3943) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - OCT 4, 2012
Bottle, 11C. Slight gusher. Hazy gold with a white head. Aroma of apples, damp hay, stone and tropical fruit, lemon, pepper. Creamy, slightly slippery mouthfeel. Sweet, fruity and floral with grapes and pineapple, mellow funk, gently tart. Doesn’t finish dry which is a slight shame. But refreshing and engaging. beersearcher (2382) - Glendale, California, USA - SEP 16, 2012
I didn’t know much about this beer going in though I have had some Borgo brews before and this really impressed me. Subtle Belgian notes with spice flavors everywhere. Very floral and easy to sip. Would pair great with salads.
