Bottle to glass. Pours a chunky orange color with a very foamy/fizzy off white head. Aroma is tart, citrus, barnyard funk. Flavor is mildly tart, citric, heavy barnyard. Funk lingers into the finish. Honestly I was expecting more from this beer, but still tasty. tom10101 (6084) - Quebec, CANADA - OCT 2, 2014
Bottle (330 ml). Thanks to Marheb for this one! Clear bright golden with a medium fully lasting white head and good lacing. Aroma is really nice with plenty of Saison character, cerals as well as a nice tartness probably from the lambic, lactic notes and acidic presence. Taste is nicely tart with a good farmhouse presence, a bit of oak, citrus and hay. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Dry finish. Superb balance. Very tasty and drinkable. I love this one! Bottle at Tom’s place. Clear gold pour with really persistent creamy white head (still there 45 mins after pouring). Aroma is really nice, lactic and citric lambic notes, funky with a good dose of grainy, doughy saison. Taste is tart, not sour, really citric, like some of the new hip wine barrel-aged American saisons, really dry. Palate is light with soft carbonation. I’m impressed.

GBBF Day 1. Bottle share, thanks to Keen Massey. Cloudy amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry and a little crisp. Mild Saison like floralness, floral fruits and mild sourness. Light airy finish. Okay.
Bottle. Long time want, I finally stumble across this one. Pours a orange, with huge frothy white head. Aroma is a little weird with sour candy, barnyard and pepper. Taste is light sourness, candy sweetness and a weird peel or grassy bitterness. Too top it off, it is way overcarbed. Hard too drink and not very tasty. harrymel (1551) - Spokane, Washington, USA - AUG 13, 2014
Pours a nice golden ale with a speedy dissipating white top, leaving just a little ring of the same. Smells of must, some funk some lemon - nice nose. This very much reminds me of cuvee rene from lindemans on the nose. The flavor is mildly sour, with funk and some grain and a little bit of lemon pith in there as well. Light bodied with some moderate carb and a good dry finish. Good beer. AirForceHops (7240) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 10, 2014
33 cl bottle split by Ajax. Hazy gold with bubbly carbonation. Aroma is nice, tart fruit, lacto, and hints of a flower character and light yeast. Jeez, will the flavor be as good as the aroma?
The answer is yes. The Lambic influence is mild, gives a light tartness that gives the flavors a nice complexity. Zesty yeast, tart fruit with the mild flowery character that I found in the nose. Adam told me the price he paid and I was not surprised but because of the high cost I could not see ever enjoying this on a regular basis. However, if money was never an issue I would buy a case of this.
