Saison with einkorn.

ShaneJ (896) - AUSTRALIA - OCT 26, 2014
Bottle from Plonk (April 2014). Hazy pale amber, minimal off-white head, quite yeasty, grainy, peppery, has a salty/ocean-like aroma to it, medium body, dry finish. Interesting.

Bottle split at my 40th bash, CBC Islo, thanks to Fergus 11/10/14. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is bitter fruits, spice, yeast esters, grain. Taste comprises bitter citrics, orange, spice, light bread, yeast esters. Medum bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stuff.

Bottle, An unclear, golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. Rather neutral aroma, fruity, sugary and with some grass and flowers. Almost flat on the palate, medium body and semi-sweet. Grass, flowers, canned peaches and a generic fruityness in the flavor. Not much bitterness going on. Peachy finish. Lacking big time on bitterness and carbonation, but it’s quite interesting anyway. 141011

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2014 Bottle share for Colin’s 40th. Hazed golden straw coloured pour with small whte head. Aroma is floral lemon berry and straw. Flavour is bubble gum lemon berry. Tasty beer. Goes down pretty east. Wheaty doughy and very clean ferment. Not much specialty grain.

Leighton (21239) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 11, 2014
Bottle shared during Colin’s 40th. Pours hazy gold with a creamy top. Some citrus fruts in the nose, a bit of tangerine, grains, hay. Medium sweet flavor with some melon, other gummy fruits, mild pale bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes sweet and fruity with further gummy fruits. Melon, some mandarin orange, white bread. Simple but tasty.

Scopey (14730) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 11, 2014
Bottle at T Bois 40. It pours murky golden orange with a small white head. The nose is soft, fruity, tangerine, marmalade, juicy, candy, berry and dried mango. The taste is crisp, bitter, tart fruits, apricot, peachy, and sugar with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. On the sweet side, but not bad. Ok.

mmahut (1859) - CZECH REPUBLIC - SEP 22, 2014
Bottle. Hazy golden copper body with no head. Aroma has light citrus malty touch, little bit acidic. Little bit tropical. Taste has fruity sweetness, light earthy bitterness. Body is full, low carbonation, soft. Very interesting if this is mostly by the grain character.

Silvan7 (1243) - Samarate, ITALY - SEP 1, 2014
On tap @ Birre in Piazza, Eataly 2014.
