Ølmesse. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Fruity malty aroma with citrus notes. The taste is similar. Oily mouthfeel. Medium carbonation and a medium bitter finish.
Keg at La Cantinetta, Rimini. Floral spicy aroma, citrusy. Pours golden orange with a thin white head. Citrusy peppery flavor, very wit like with a little resinous bitterness in the middle and towards the finish. The end is dry with some coriander lingering. Very nice. Unclear golden, aroma of weissbier, slightly hoppy in taste. A decent weissbier made with spelt. KansaiBeerLvrs (5141) - Kyoto, JAPAN - APR 28, 2013
Bottle from Rakuten. I thought this was a weizen but it turns out it is a Belgian Pale Ale brewed with Einkorn Wheat. It was a bit of an odd beer, it poured a nice golden copper with a thin quickly dissipating head. The aroma was candy like with citrus notes. The flavor was sweet and tasted a bit like oranges. Some people thought it was sour, some thought it had sorachi ace & someone else thought it was made using Brett... I think it was probably just the odd wheat used in the brewing coming through, quite interesting & unique.
