COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saison with einkorn.

2009-06-07. Hazy golden body, small white head. Aroma is mild, interesting floral character, light hops, mild pale malt. (6+) Flavour is mild, light bitterness has an interesting not quite tangy note. Mild pale malts, light sort of floral but not quite character that lingers in the finish and aftertaste. Average to light palate. Okay. Bottle, Mondial 2009, Montreal

KyotoLefty (10688) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAR 15, 2012
Draught at open Baladin, Roma. Cloudy amber-orange with a low, lacy head. Aroma of orange and grapefruit, acid, peach, a bit of vinegar. Flavor is estery but controlled, with apricots, a bit of honey, and a nice tartness. Oily, silky, and full body. Tasty like jam with hops.

Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 16, 2010
Blindtasting at Fonefan 12.06.2010, thanks Jan and Charlotte! It’s hazy golden with a creamy head and the aroma has notes of malt, light syrup, candy sugar, light yeast and fruit. The flavour is sweet with notes of clover-flower, malt, light yeast, light elderflower and light fruit – it’s refreshing and easy to drink.

deanso (10101) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - AUG 6, 2012
Sample at the beer temple rastibg. Very thin white head. Slighly hazy amber pour. Slight sweetness.

JorisPPattyn (10072) - BELGIUM - APR 9, 2012
Medium, whitish head over hazed orange beer. Citrus (orange), wheat, spices, orangeliqueur. Again citrus & wheat (or speciality grain...) mainly; possibly coriander, but restrained (enough). Still perfumey, and rather slanted towards the artificial. Warming up, ginger. Soft, velvety MF despite the more than adequate carbonation. The problem with del Borgo - and more Italian craftbrewers - is that their flavours are often a bit forced. This is no exception.
