A: snifter. golden yellow color with a solid white head. decent retention, faint lacing. tons of sediment.
S: tons of citrus and berries. very yeasty. some slight sour notes as well.
T: very smooth flavors, no sours at all which was rather shocking from the aroma. definitely some spices thrown in this. almost tastes like how some flowers smell, like lilies. some citrus but very faint.
M: smooth and mellow. not as crisp as I thought it would be. high carbonation level, but still smooth.
D: very drinkable, but the big bottle can get old after a while. A good beer to share, but a full one is a little tiring. cgarvieuk (25728) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 9, 2010
bottle at home ... copper ... thin lacing ... soft fruit hop ... light floral hop nose ... little over fizzy ... little vegative ... sweet hop ... little fruits ... big bitter flower in linger ... there no doubt about the flower being in there ... its quite unusual ... and quite bitter ... but a different bitterness ... i quite like this. A Mes rate. Bottle at the Rake thanks to Glenn.RichardGretton (4772) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2010
Murky gold with a thin but lasting white head. Sweet, yeasty and plenty of esters on the nose. Similar in the mouth. Strange earthy note to it. Almost mead / honey like. Interesting stuff for sure but not something I could get excited about.
Bottle. Vibrant orangy beer with a strong head. The aroma is vinous and yeasty, and the flavour is fruity and vinous. Overall a nice vinous and fruity beer. leaparsons (10700) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2010
Bottle. Hazy gold and orange with a white head. Aromas are caramel and wheat with light spiced oranges. Yeasty and floral with woody notes and cream. Flavours are sweetened and bitter lemon with sweet wheat. Creamy with oranges and spices. Yeasty and floral with a dry finish.

UPDATED: JAN 26, 2011 I bought a bottle in Open Baladin. I honestly LOVE gentiana liqueur but this beer is even better. The herbs aroma is deep and long, even fruity and floral (pin? resin?). The taste is complex, well balanced, the body is medium. Quite creamy. Perfect for me, I hope you’ll enjoy too. anders37 (26878) - Malmö, SWEDEN - OCT 2, 2010
Bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity spicy aroma. Sweetish fruity spicy bitter flavor. Has a sweetish malty spicy bitter finish. ReAle (120) - Rome, ITALY - AUG 29, 2010
UPDATED: MAR 8, 2011 Draught @ Open Baladin (Rome) - Sweet flavour, spicy by herbs, good body, long taste. Great beer. Christian (13775) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 26, 2010
Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of fruit, yeast and herbs. Sweet herbal flavour with impressions like sage, rosemary and honey, ending in an unfortunate sugary sweetness. fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 15, 2010
RBESG 2010, draught at Open Baladin
Golden color. Nice hop aroma, with just light herbs. Good body, malty, sweet; it has just a light herbal touch, not necessarily gentiane. Correct bitterness. Good.
