COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A top fermented ale brewed with gentian, a bitter flowering plant.

On draft at Holy Grale. Ample off-white head quickly dissipates atop this murky, dark-straw-colored pour. Aroma generally light, absent of hop notes, instead offering a clean sweetness and a hint of flowers. The flavor is also very clean, with only a hint of bitterness at the finish, and even this is accompanied by a clean, smooth, light sweetness. The palate is a little lacking for my taste, although the beer is not unpleasant in this respect.

750 bottle @home. Dorata chiara torbida, schiuma bianca media, molto persistente. Al naso sentori speziati e floreali, biancospino, genziana, menta, pepe. In bocca dolce allattacco con finale appena amaro erbaceo, pepato. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Buona!

Bottle, Reggina del Formaggio, Split, shared with heavy. Murky amber body with almost no head. Light aroma, marmalade basically, light herbal touch, soft, quite Belgian. The taste goes along the same lines. Slightly thin, it carries lovely citric (orange), vaguely flowery notes and classic Belgian Blonde notes with a vague herbal touch. Very vague. Not sure what gentian brings exactly and how big an effect it has on the taste, but this is one of the best Borgos Ive tried, a pleasant, tasty, well balanced beer, just not flashy.

0,33l bottle from Damian Bottle Shop, Bratislava, BBD: 03 2018 Pours almost clear goldne liquid, small soapy white head, Aroma: spicy, herbal, root vegetable, after a while floral, Taste: medium sweet, light bitter, light to medium sour, lemony, herbal, flowery, body is caramel to grainy, strange, making me feel it gone bad - sour, but perhaps its beacause of the gentian, Palate: medium body - even watery like, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel, long flowery sour aftertaste, Overall: did not realy enjoyed. Interesting, but much on the sour side, body tending to watery, strange.

Tap @Open Baladin, Roma. Cloudy golden, small offwhite head. Very malty, slightly grainy aroma. A touch of orange perhaps. Flavour has malt and orange. Nice and smooth but somewhat boring.

Hazy orange color with creamy, white head. Aroma is grassy, herbal, like a herbal tea with camomile. Taste has very nice saison notes along the herbal component. Slightly sweet but overall really drinkable. Body is really soft and has medium to low carbonation. Really tasty and easy to drink.
