UPDATED: JUL 10, 2011 Sentori e sapori di malto, con spezie, la genziana non molto evidente, ma caraterizza bene l’aroma, che risulta incredibilmente complesso. Ottima in bocca, davvero una gran birra! Zarin (202) - ITALY - JUL 2, 2011

On bottle at bir&fud pizzeria. The first impact with this beer reveals a floral and honey taste. Finish light and not too much persistent. I like it.

A cloudy, lion's mane appearance. Very floral (gentian root) taste in the beginning. Clove and bread taste. Light carbonation. Fantastic unique taste that the gentian adds. Similar to a Belgian tripel.

12oz bottle from Chan’s Wine World in Destin Florida. Pours a pretty golden , clear yellow with a creamy white head. Nose is yeasty and citrusy with a slightly musty nose. Taste is slightly sour, creamy and tart with a hop bitterness that shows through just enough. Wow. Really beautiful beer. SSSteve (4006) - - JAN 18, 2008
pours a hazy gold with a small white head. nice fresh, tropical, white grape, hops, aroma. i could smell this all day! flavor of coriander, flowers, vanilla, peaches. a delicate, light bodied beer. reminds me a little of a white beer. this would be great in the summer. First of the expensive Italian beers found at Khoury’s in Henderson, NV. Gentain? First impression makes me wish that I had access to this in Edmonton.Forcina (52) - Bellinzona, Rome, Brussels, SWITZERLAND - OCT 5, 2010
Poured out a bright hazy gold brew with an ok amount of white foam, leaves lots of ropy lacing and has good retention as a skim. The aroma is great with a unique sweet fruity punch, very floral and herbal. Tangerines, unsweetened berries, wet grass and an unknown herbal aroma that is new to me. Good taste as well, very balanced with all these flavours: some sort of orange, berry, weakest of pepper (maybe), grass, flowers of some sort and the mystery flavour. Medium bodied, smooth throughout even with the fine, sometimes biting carbonation. Finishes with a bit of bitterness and more orangy fruit. This was a very good beer. Would be great on a hot day.
UPDATED: JAN 26, 2011 I bought a bottle in Open Baladin. I honestly LOVE gentiana liqueur but this beer is even better. The herbs aroma is deep and long, even fruity and floral (pin? resin?). The taste is complex, well balanced, the body is medium. Quite creamy. Perfect for me, I hope you’ll enjoy too.
