DØE. Hazy reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and rather hoppy - grapefruit. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 100512

Aroma of cascade and more cascade, dark bronze color. Carbonated and bitter, but surprisingly light. Grapefruit flavors and surprisingly short palate. Very drinkable.

Tap at Gar Eden. Dark red/brown with small golden creamy head. Aroma is pine, citrus hops, bit of roastiness, chocolate creamy. Taste is very nice, chicolate, lots of bitterness, grassy, citrus, herbal, coffee element, boozy burn. Really good.

Draught, 23 Club, Liverpool. Dark brown looks with a smallish tan head. Piney hop, citrus, choc and a hint of roast present in the beak. A similar yarn unfolded in the sweetish flavour with some very tidy hop bitterness. Extremely drinkable and moreish. Great stuff. Meow.

330ml bottle from The Wine Emporium 231213. Easy drinking this one, gives down well and doesn’t strip your palate. Nice and hoppy.

first thing - a really nice bottle and label, it stands out. surprisingly, the beer isn’t black, but dark-brown - but I think it can be the case with CDAs. the best thing about this beer is the aroma, hoppy, with lots of esters, it comes out really nice. the taste is also very hoppy - not only in bitterness, which is quite high but very noble and short, but also in the taste as such. It’s really enjoyable. foam is nice, too. drawbacks? a bit too thin, I think it would be better with a slightly more ’full’ body. a bit soury too, but it’s not a problem for me - it’s got this estry-fruity character which not everyone might like, but for me it’s great. a good beer with a fabulous aroma.

Wyraźnie czuć cytrusy w postaci cytryn i limonki, a w tle lekki karmel, z tymże jakby trochę przypalony.

Bottle from Saveur-Biere.com - Color: deep dark black beer with small carbonation and medium ivory head. Smell: roasted malt, sweet caramel and balanced with strong grassy hops. Taste: medium body with roasted malt balanced with great grassy hops notes. Vegetal and grassy, easy drinkable. Aftertaste: roasted malt, sweet caramel and grassy hops bitterness. Great!
