fiulijn (20516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 17, 2012
Draught at Eataly, Bologna
Black color, or very dark mahogany, with creamy head. Very nice hoppy aroma, still fruity, with some caramel. Mild flavor of roasted malt, with good hopping; the body structure is good, but getting drier at the end.
Fresh and very good, more balanced that most other beers in the style.

sunevdj (4087) - Copenhagen OE, DENMARK - MAY 1, 2012
On tap at Open Balladin. Pours a clear dark brown with an off-white head. Quite hoppy with floral hopiness. Hints of earthy hops. Soft carbonation. Medium body. Long hoppy and floral finish.

dreadnord (1012) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 9, 2012
Pours dark brown but turns black as it pools in the glass with a big off white head. Nose is fresh pine, roasted coffee and ocean spray. Taste is mostly bitter throughout. Light sweetness for balancing. Mouthfeel is crisp and clean. Medium body with a long aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Mortlach (2347) - Rome, ITALY - JUN 9, 2012
Birra magnifica.

DeliriumT (537) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUL 21, 2012
This beer pours a nice black colour with decent lasting white head. The aroma is fresh and full of resiny hops. The flavour is lightly burnt sugar with citrus bitterness. Very enjoyable Italian black IPA.

18/11/12 - 75cl bottle @ Horecaexpo (Gent) - BB: III/14 (2012-1286)

Clear dark amber to almost brown beer, small off-white irregular head, unstable. Aroma: lots of sweet sugary fruits, syrup, honey, sweet malts. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: some caramel, bit sweet, bitter hops, fruity, ripe peaches. Aftertaste: very bitter, dry, some grapefruit, lemon peel, little spicy, some alcohol coming through. Pretty good beer!

Tap at Open Baladin Roma. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Very hoppy resin/pine aroma. Med body. Flavor is resin/pine. Smoothly bitter finish. Mild hop burn builds with time.

HopRedHead (397) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - NOV 11, 2013
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours dark brown with full tan head and heavy lacing. Upfront aroma of citrus, pine needles and fruity Belgian esters. Taste is quite sweet - bready malts, Belgian notes and lots of citrus. Lots of flavour for such a low percentage beer. Lingering citric bitterness. Really solid drop.
