COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

750ml bottle, 6 % abv, shared at The BrewDog Bar in Manchester. Pours a hazy, dark orange coloured body under a two-finger, white head with fine retention and lacing rings down the glass. Fresh fruity taste mixed with honey sweetness. Flavoured by sappy tropical fruits followed by herbal hops. Fresh bittersweet ending. Partially creamy in the mouth. Easy to drink and very refreshing (25.01.2013).

Bottled at Vinocom 2016. Lovely orange-amber-golden body, shiny, no head really. Light aroma mixing notes of orange, honey and brett, dry, with mild tartness from something other than brett I guess. Light, dry and bitter taste, peppery notes and brett. Too dry, but generally a good, enjoyable beer.

Bottle, served at Eataly Chicago. This was described as being a hybrid of an American style IPA and a Belgian saison. Hmmmmm. It pours an amber brown and is very hazy. Caramel and subtle spices with floral undertones. This is not remotely like either of those styles! But its a decent Belgian ale.

(draught) hazy ruby-amber colour with a frothy light-beige head. aroma of heavy talcum powder and brown sugar, quite twiggy, with a touch of lebkuchen spices and bath salts. flavour is mostly sugar icing and gooseberry preserve, slightly bready, with a hint of grainy pale malts, some lavender and a slightly chalky semi-dry finish. full-bodied with soft carbonation.
