Imperial Pilser" realizzata con Sam Calagione del birrificio Dogfish Head (USA). Pils, Carapils, Simcoe, Warior, Saaz <nt>

Note di frutta tropicale, pesca gialla e melone.

LazyPyro (1467) - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 5, 2017
330ml bottle. Hazy golden orange with a large collapsing off-white head. Strong hoppy aroma, grapefruit, citrus, lemon, pine. Taste is full of hops too, citrus, grapefruit, zesty lemon and pine, malt in the background, quite sweet, sticky. Medium body, average carbonation, very soft and smooth feel. A stunning imperial pils, but probably much closer to an IPA than it should be.

Hazy golden body with a very large, creamy, dense, fully lasting, off-white head that laces the glass excellently. Quite strong aroma of pale malts, generic fruity notes with hints of tropical fruits, and citrus, with sweet caramel in the back. Very strong flavour of sweet generic fruits, and pale malts, with sugar, citrus and well integrated alcohol in the back. Moderate to light sweet taste with a light to moderate bitter finish. Medium body, smooth texture, moderate carbonation, some dryness in the finish. A pretty nice beer, but I can come up with some better uses for US hops that putting in in an imperial pils.
[33 cl bottle, enjoyed 1 year before BB date, from Vinmonopolet Ullevål, Oslo]
