Small weird shaped bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy brown with a head. Aroma of light tartness, some oak, a nice caramel and toffee maltiness, a little orange peel, and some more fruits. Flavor the same with a nice blend. Average texture. A unique beer, tasty but a little weird. drpimento (3814) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 25, 2014
This version didn't seem to fare as well as the unaged version. Appearance has a fizzy small very short-lived head, no lace and a dark brown cloudy color. aroma is balsamic vinegar dark fruit and a little Malt. Flavor is like aroma except no sweetness or very little sweetness from fruit and some Oaky flavors. Body is okay and include some alcohol warmth. It's an okay beer.

Ugly brown color, zero head/lace. Smells like an Oude Bruin: dark cherries, oak barrels, a bit soured. Hints of an English Barleywine underneath the soured grain and yeast. Tart, balanced, interesting. I like Del Borgo. jredmond (8839) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 11, 2013
Sampled at Clockwork’s 4K/5K/10K gathering 2013. Bottle pours a deep amber body with off white lacing. Aroma is light, funky fruit. Mouthfeel is medium to full with notes of fruit - somewhat one dimensional with a very lightly flavored, tart funk. Not bad though. blipp (9902) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAY 31, 2013
Bottle at the 4k/5k/10k tasting. Pours amber with a beige head. Sweet and grainy malty base, with hint of wood and toast, and a light dark fruity-ish slight tartness. Decent.
