COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Duchessa with fresh cherries infused. February release.

Huge tart acidic aromas rains and plums come to mind. Hazy orange thin ring of head. So smooth dried prune full body slides slowly to a mild acidic sour finish. I have never liked prunes so much.

Nydelig!

Amber peach color, off-white head. Sour berries, cherries, cherry pits, vinegar, wood, floral, spicy and funky notes. Sweet and sour taste, cherries, cherry pits, wood, hints of vinegar and marzipan, balanced and smooth finish. Medium body, soft to average carbonation.

Bottle. Rating by my girlfriend, I was only allowed a sip. Leather, sour cherries, plums, a bit yeasty, quite funky and very clean. Taste is dominated by tart notes of cherries, lightly sweet with nice bitter notes and a tarty slightly funky finish. Creamy, medium body, with soft carbonation. Very good.

75cl bottle shared by Colin at CBC, Clerkenwell. It pours a slightly hazy deep ruby/amber color with a small pinkish head. Aroma is fruity with loads of tart cherry notes and some citrus. Taste is well balanced, gently sweet and acidic with notes of cherries and light dust and citrus. Medium mouthfeel and well carbonated. Very good and certainly better than the Rubus.

Pours a rosey copper color with a finger of fizzy foam that settles out quickly. Nice soft rustic beer with a dusty field grain backbone that is enhanced by tart cherry skin, wet earth stem and pits, lingering vinous acidity and elegant balance between fruit and grain. Crushable and unique.
