COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Duchessa with fresh cherries infused. February release.

Complexity for the sake of complexity. This beer has no backbone, just a bunch of interesting flavors floating about disconnected from each other. A jumble. It tastes honestly but ill-advisedly made.

UPDATED: JUL 27, 2017 Bottle shared with friend. Beautiful blood orange color, non existing head. Aroma is yeast, fruits, cherries. Taste is pretty tart, almost vinegary, lots of funk, lots of cherry and some metallic taste. Sweetness comes along nicely. Long lasting after taste. Very nice attempt at a kriek.

Bottle. Golden amber color, thin white foam. Aroma: fruit vinegar, cherry, sweetness. Taste: sour cherry with fruit vinegar, light sweetness and a bit of "wild".

Bottle. Rating by my girlfriend, I was only allowed a sip. Leather, sour cherries, plums, a bit yeasty, quite funky and very clean. Taste is dominated by tart notes of cherries, lightly sweet with nice bitter notes and a tarty slightly funky finish. Creamy, medium body, with soft carbonation. Very good.

Pours reddish amber, fizzy with a quite a small white head and good lacing. Very sour to the nose, with strong cherry. Tastes quite sour, in a pleasant way, with strong notes of cherry. Medium sweet to balance, little bitterness to finish. Light bodied ale, thin feel, lively carbonated, astringent finish with some bitter after taste. Enjoyable fruit beer, properly made.

Cloudy, deep orange body with a small, frothy, short-lived, off-white head that leaves some lacing. Very strong aroma of barnyard, manure, horse blanket, leather, tart berries, vinegar and solvent. Very strong flavour of barnyard and other funky stuff, leather, fermented and rotten fruits, with cherry pits and caramel in the back. Very little sweetness, moderate sour and acidic. Mid-bodied, dry, moderate carbonation. I guess this is what you grownups like, but this is too special and violent for me.
