COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Crea assuefazione!

Close your eyes and you are in paddy’s markets at the end of a long saturday, pineapple and overripe orange and peaches all squelched underfoot and starting to rot. open your eyes and it’s a bit disappointing - obviously so many hops used that they couldn’t keep the beer clear - sort of muddy and over carbonated with a huge quickly collapsing head. soapy and round in the mouth. i’m sure there’s bitterness there somewhere but it’s hidden by all the hops. yes that’s what i said... there’s so much fruitiness that i cant taste the bloody bitterness. round, but slightly salty back palate and sweet caramel in the end. overall impression is sweet. gimme a dry hoppy beer like xx bitter any day over some of these "balanced" ipas.

czar (9592) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 17, 2014
bottle at mondial 2014, mtl. hazy pale golden pour with a nice off-white head, good retention and nice lacing. pleasant and fresh citrus - like its non extra counterpart - and tropicalness, melons, peppery graininess, rye-like, caramel touch, slightly doughy and sweetish. average to moderate carbonation, light body - oily, assertive and balanced grassy-spicy-citrusy finish. revivifying.

Color arancio brillante, schiuma pannosa e fine. Gasatura perfetta. Al naso forte nota di pompelmo, aromi puliti, corpo medio, molto beverina, perfetto equilibrio.

Tap. For some reason every time I’ve tried this I haven’t really enjoyed I as much as I thought I would. Maybe a little too sweet and malty for my liking???

Bottle 750 ml at home, poured into a tulip glass. ABV 6.4% Orange colour on the body, a nit hazy, white coloured head, tall and thick, with very good retention and heavy lacing lefft on the glass. Aroma of hops, caramel malts, some sugar, peaches, a bit lactic as well, lots of mandarines. Taste has citrus, again lots of mandarines, some malty sweetness that lasts for a while before the hoppy bitterness kicks in. Not extremely bitter but the bitterness has a good duration. Medium body, good carbonation, mildly dry palate. Overall quite good, highly drinkable beer and an easy one too.

Ragnampiza (757) - Rome / Lecce, ITALY - MAR 8, 2014
750 ml bottle from ArtigianBeer served in a pint glass. Light sunrise orange, pretty clear when carefully poured, with a nice and fluffy dirty white head. Good lacing retention. Powerful aroma of blood orange, citrusy hops, a nice bouquet of tropical fruits, resin and pine needles. The taste follow suit, nice explosion of bitterness, without being overwhelming, dry and citrusy forward aftertaste, quite long and satisfying. The malt backbone is there, in a tiny amount just as a support in balancing the different elements. Average carbonation, medium body and creamy texture. I’m sure a very fresh bottle (or even better a nice pint on tap/cask) could be mind blowing, but this is already very, very good!

From a 330ml bottle on 23/2/2014. Pours a murky dark golden with virtually no head. Has a very pleasant slightly spicy, fruity aroma. In the mouth, you get rye bread, citrus and stone fruit, caramel, nuts and spices. The bitterness is firm but not over the top. Has a medium body and quite lively carbonation. It’s by no means a typical IPA, but it’s a really lovely drop.
