Crea assuefazione!

Into a tall glass. Three fingers of head, big and frothy. A hazy, dark straw colored body. Smells like lemon and pine, and a floral note. Which was a nice surprise. A solid malty taste, toned down pine bitterness. Tasty. Silky texture, moderate carbonation with a fizz. This is a good beer. For an American IPA it does not have the characteristic bitterness, or maybe Im used to higher IBU for IPAs. In any case, its still enjoyable.

BOTTLE 75 CL. Hazy amber, huge ivory head. Subtle aroma of quince jam, fresh apple skins, hints of dusty herbal hops. Getting some raw yeast too. Subtle caramel sweetness - the juicy kind, weird hoppiness (fruity, herbal, leafy and rooty), moderate grassy and piney bitterness.

Yellow hazy with rich white creamy head. Slightly sour citrus aroma. Strong bitterness with citrus sourness, latter is too much for good balance, slightly sweet background. Slight bitter aftertaste.

Straw orange. Nice fruity aroma - what theyre aiming for, mainly general fresh citrus in annas view. Good hoppiing, fruity and crisp, accompanied by decent malts. Very drinkable - slips down easily. A winey aspect in places. Phil writes Nice but Narp. (It leaves a good taste in the mouth and should be rated about 3.3, in annas view. Rerate this later?)
