Lemongrass and various citrus fruit gleefully scent this juicy, tart and dry summer quencher. An eclectic number which does not recall any sort of tea most people have ever had.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slim film of foam covers the light yellow.
-Our program said this was brewed by Chinese black tea, not green tea...
-The spicy citrus component is dominant and combined with the nearly anemic body makes this extremely easy to down.
-A light weizen yeast character roams in the background.
-A drop of milk in your tea, sir? Uh, sure.
Bottle; best before April 2009.
Little head, orange-yellow beer with green sheen. Sherry-ish, vegetal aroma and lots of citrus in the nose - but tea? Tannines, and their astringency appear in taste & mouthfeel. Again mainly citrus flavours. Apart from the astringency, quite sour. Not great, but consistently OK. daniele (9680) - ITALY - MAY 21, 2008

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a large fizzy white head and a chill hazed yellow body. GOod lacing. Aroma is strong with tea, honey and some jam. Taste is watery with tea and some light fruits. Smooth mouthfeel, light bubbles.

Bottle in bologna.
I guess you have to try everything once?
Some tea here, perhaps, but not in any way a balanced beer. A sort of weiss would be the closest realtive, there is some citrus here.
If they crack the code, they could make light green tea weissens and imperial tea breafast stouts. Or cream tea ales..... blutt59 (6579) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 20, 2008
bottle, thanks to bu11zeye, light yellow in color, head is slightly soapy with a grape and grainy nose, flavor is grainy, citrus with a nice fruity grape finish JPDIPSO (6287) - Wauwatosa, USA - APR 2, 2008
Cloudy straw color with plenty of fish food swimming about. Smallish white head. Hints of citrus in the land of lagerdom. Some light wheat and pale malt sneak out every once and awhile. Quite smooth on the palate, but a touch lifeless as well. Light pale malt start with just hints of citrus, and lemongrass. I don’t find much unique in this one. Has some kolsch qualities and not much of a tea presence. Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 17, 2008
Opaque, but very, very pale yellow. Tiny white head. Very well extracted tea flavour immediately escapes the bottle once it’s opened. Fresh, herbal., leafy… even more pronounced in mouth. Zesty, lemony, fresh acidity. Sweetness kept under control. Excellent small-bubbled carbonation constantly regenerates the tastebuds. Marvellous acidity all throughout. Refreshing wheat profile. Very light, but still excellent beer.
