(750ml bottle) Pours a hazy pale yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, florals, toasted grain, and earthiness. Flavor of lemon, pepper, floral, and grass. bhensonb (15963) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 30, 2009
Bottle from John’s Marketplace in Portland, OR. Pours hazy peach with some coarse white bubbles. Something of an apricot/peach aroma. Medium body with mild, very mild, carbonation. Flavor is smooth mild malt, lightly fruity with a decent bittering. Could be tea. Could be a grassy hop. Very subdued, but rather tasty. Interesting. Courtesy PhillyBeer2112. Pours a cloudy, light, golden-straw color. A small, frothy, off-white head leaves traces of lines and spots behind. The aroma is as strange as they come, with notes of green olives, herbal tea, vinegar, and even hints of tomato. Flavors were quite different, as the vinegar component was replaced with citrus and coriander. There is a lemony zing to this one that adds to its refreshing nature. Lighter bodied and easy drinking, it finishes with a fresh, clean herbal feeling. This is a strange animal, for sure. I’m glad I got to try it. Bottle @ Mondial 2008.
Nose is a decent malt, with some fine hops too, cloudy amber, small white head. Taste is malt, some noble hops , a trace of woodiness. Light bodied, sweet, pleasant mouth feel. Very good.

From Belmont Station in Portland, OR...Poured a light mustard orange murky hue with a soft whitish bubbly thin head. Nose of mildly dull citrus notes and a watery fruits. Low carbonation levels no pop when uncapping and thin on the tongue. Finished a little disappointingly drab. Somehow it remained on the back of the tongue a quasi cloying manner. Bottle. Pours apricot. Nose of peel, flowers, tea and yeast. Taste of faint orange peel, tea, lemongrass and yeast. Lightish body. Lubiere (14240) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 23, 2012
A hazed golden ale with a thick frothy light mocha head. In aroma, nice herbaceous malt with light honey and green tea, little lemon touches. In mouth, a nice smooth beer with grainy and honey malt and smooth tea character, decent. 2.99$ at Total Wine Summerlin, 1 month after buying. JorisPPattyn (10112) - BELGIUM - OCT 24, 2007
Little head, orange-yellow beer with green sheen. Sherry-ish, vegetal aroma and lots of citrus in the nose - but tea? Tannines, and their astringency appear in taste & mouthfeel. Again mainly citrus flavours. Apart from the astringency, quite sour. Not great, but consistently OK. Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 5, 2007
In short: A nice refreshing Hefe-weizen-ish beer
How: Post Montreal’s Flaveurs, Bières and Caprice Festival 2007 tasting. Bottle taken out by Rastacouere/Cathschlag.
The look: Cloudy blonde-yellow body with a small white head
In long: Hay, lemon, freshly cut grass, light bananas and citrus fruits. Rather yeasty. Tart and surprisingly dry for that type of fruity hefe-ish beer. Smooth and fluffy body. I tried but I didn’t find any of the tea flavours that were supposed to be the main attractions. It’s either extremely well integrated or in very small quantity. Could also be that this is a type of tea I’m not familiar with since I try to stay away from non-alcoholic beverages outside mandatory bodily requirements.
