COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Tap @ La Nostra Terrazzo, Peschiera. Pours clear golden with a small, creamy, white head. Aroma is quite malty, little pine, mild grassy. Low carbonation, fairly dry and a bit thin mouthfeel. Flavour is light malty, some sugary sweetness, light citric. Mild bitterness.

Bottle. Clear golden color, white head. Skunky aroma, some malts. Bit sweet flavor, nothing special, decent thirst quencher.

Baffo d´Oro has a relatively sturdy malty body and light hopping and average carbonation in the palate. While it might be ok with food, as such the beer is dull and the marginally better taste cannot not compensate the somewhat unpleasant flat malty aftertaste.

Noticeable better than the normal version of Moretti beer. I find it very pleasant to drink on "everyday" meals.

Bottled 66cl (COOP Sanremo, BB 06/2013)
Clear golden color, small steady white head, some lace. Papery, harsh aroma. Light bodied. Harsh, very cardboardish flavor. Very little other substance. Is this premium version of the normal one? I doubt.
