COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti La Rossa is a double bock beer produced using high quality 100% malted barley, giving it a rich sweet taste and an intense fragrance of roasted malt. The amber colour that characterizes the beer, comes from kind of malt used in the recipe (malt is dried, roasted barley). Another key ingredients is hops, the variety used is particularly aromatic, giving a characteristic bitter aftertaste and a delicate fragrance to the beer. The Master Brewers advise a service temperature between 10° and 12° C.

Deep red chestnut brown with a tan head. Weak aromas of sweet, toasty malts. Fruity, roasted malt flavors. Holds a decent amount of body with a sweet, alcohol taste. Strong and good.

0.33l bottle. Deep red color. Aroma is caramel, toasted malt, dark fruits and raisins. Taste is sweet with nice notes of caramel and toasted malty. A little bit fruity. Sticky finish. Overall it's very good beer with great aroma is flavor.

Heck of a doppelbock from heineken/birramoretti at 7.2%, I'll order this when there's only lagers.

It's got that malty European beer taste that they love. I don't love it, and that's why we don't sell too many of them around here. Luckily it has a decently high alcohol content, so I'll drink through it.

Thanks Karina for these beers that you picked up in Domodossola. I drank it the last week at home in Lausanne. In my point of view, it is surely the best beer of this brewery, totally drinkable, pleasant for the palate, standard and well balanced during all the phases of the drink. Firstly, the taste is malty, bready, sugar, some hop, toasted malt, few notes of plum, a bit watery. The color is an original red/brown body, white and brown foam, regular carbonation. Classical but good.

Bottle: Poured an amber color ale with a nice foamy head with medium retention and some lacing. Aroma of light caramel malt notes with some residual sugar notes also noticeable. Taste is also a mix of caramel malt with light cereal notes and residual sugar. Body is about average with good carbonation. OK amber ale but nothing to write home about.

Rossa. Zoetmoutig (karamel) aroma. Karamelmoutige smaak met toetsen van mokka. Zacht bitterige afdronk.

fuller body, kinda sticky, sweet licorice and caramel. seems like a more commercial version of a doublebock than paulaner. gotta check the price comparison but really this is good stuff. love the label too

Bottle. It was either this or the pale. Aroma has caramel, cereal, bread, notes. Pours reddish brown , clear, minimal white foam. Taste medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, average carbonation, and sticky finish. It survived alongside a curry in Venice so deserves some respect.
