Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

Color dorado, translúcido, con capa de espuma blanca de tres dedos de grosor (muy poca retención). Carbonatación mínima. Textura acuosa y chispeante. Aroma a maíz, cereal. Sabor a cereal, maíz, casi dulce, con toque metálico notable. Floja.

I feel my rating for Birra Moretti is a little harsher than it actually deserves. It just didn’t do much for me. Pale color. Grainy, corny nose. Cereal grain sweetness and a somewhat oxidized hoppy bitterness

Bortled. Thx Peter Pale golden. Brief, white head. Grainy aroma and flavour. Thin body. Medium bitterness.

Fairly decent larger. It’s like a better version of Heineken. Grassy, slightly acidic but maintains a pleasent sweetness. Moderately carbonated. No real surprises with the malt flavour though, it’s slight and cereal-like. Nothing special though, bare that in mind! It’s worth paying an extra 30/40p a pint for compared to the typical cheap pub draughts (Fosters, Carling, Budweiser, Becks etc). But that’s about the extend of the compliments. Nice, pleasant, easy drinking accessible-larger.

330ml bottle (bb 1 Mar 2018) at St Cuthbert’s Golf Club, Prestwick on 15 Apr 2017, oaty, pale malty aroma, golden with a thin off-white head, flavour as aroma, not overly fizzy.

Tinaccio (390) - Milano, ITALY - APR 13, 2017
330 or 660 ml bottle from every supermarket in Italy. Colour is pale yellow with a medium froathy white head. Aroma is most malty and notes of herbs and grass. Light sweetness, moderate bitterness. Very popular but not because of high quality.

Well, even Italians shy away from this. You have to try it once as a warning.
