Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

12-ounce bottle. Pours a standard golden-lager color and a small white head that recedes so fast, you’d think there was a warrant out for its arrest. No aroma whatsoever. Flavors include grains and seltzer water with an apple-like finish. Light body and full carbonation. Crisp and clean. Refreshing, but not much to speak of here.

Jucky limey macro pale lager aroma. Pale straw, brief fizzy head. Watery palate, fizzy, some harsh acrid chemical aspects, makes me feel like Ive been spliffing (I dont smoke, the mouth feeling like this is one reason why). Raw barley and husks taste, a bit rabbit-foody, plenty of carbonic acid. Acrid finish lasts way too long. Really dire macro lager.

66 cl bought in Italy. Pours clear golden color with a thin white head. Aroma and taste of corn, grain, hops. Light body, medium carbonation, nice slow bitterness aftertaste. Overall a decent Italian beer!

Best Pale Lager Ive had, although that doesnt mean much. Good body inspite of the low alcohol, grassy hop aroma with decent malt background. Quite sweet and not very bitter, easy to drink.

Pours a very clear golden with a thin white head that leaves pretty good lacing. Nose is of corn for the most part but there is also some grassy/herbal notes in the back. Taste is pretty dull with some sweet corn and a very light bitterness. Body is light, carbonation moderate. Overall its just another macro lager, nothing really worth writing about.

330 ml bottle into lager glass, bottled on 6/20/2016. Pours crystal clear pale golden/straw color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, corn, biscuit, light honey, floral, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, corn, biscuit, light honey, floral, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, corn, biscuit, floral, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/bready/grainy, and slightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.6%. Overall this is a good pale lager. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Flavorful with a nice body for the low ABV; never feels thin or watery. A nicely enjoyable offering.
