Grumbo (3144) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - AUG 26, 2014
Bottle from a supermarket in Tirana. Pours a deeper golden colour with a just off white head. Mild aroma of malts and hops. Average carbonation, medium sweetness, with a sweetish finish. It’s ok.

hrabren (1279) - Zagreb, CROATIA - AUG 22, 2014
0.3 bottle from Tirana thanks to Vlatka. Drank from the bottle in the park. Aroma of... Nothing. Feels like boiled water with some sugar in it, then chilled. Nothing. Not worth trying.

JorisPPattyn (10026) - Ursel, BELGIUM - JUL 13, 2014
Good dense just off-white head over deep golden beer. Raw grain/s, sweetish, and, well, unrefined. Sweet grains and malt and a raw, grassy finish. Bit milky. Light to medium bodied. Leaves a dirty, sticky lining in the throat. Really. My second Albanian . Txs to Stef, unfortunately, the tastes leaves to be desired.

Iznogud (3919) - CROATIA - JUL 6, 2014
Bottle 330 ml, brought from Albania by a friend. Pours yellow with small white head. Malty and grassy. Barely drinkable lager.

kraddel (8355) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - JUN 24, 2014
Bottle Thnx To Karin . Pours really clear blonde, very small white head . Smell is metallic, malty . Quite average lager scent . Sweetbitter malty taste, that fades into grainyness, rather dry . Actually not to bad at all for a lager !

Nuffield (4180) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - JUN 11, 2014
Right down the middle of the style in a number of respects, including color, with a slightly more prominent metallic note in the finish. Bottle purchased in Pristina, Kosovo.

Splitenz (370) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 10, 2014
Bought in a kiosk on the Sarandë harbour boardwalk. Translates as Tirana Red if I remember correctly. Only beer I had in Albania that seemed like a slight departure from ordinary pilsner. Bit more malty flavor, don’t know the colour, I drank it straight from the bottle. Not very nice, but passable and not as metalic as Kaon and some of the others.

TBone (17699) - Pori, FINLAND - DEC 1, 2013
Bottle @Sarande sand bar 11.7.2013
Golden color, clear color, small white head. Light notes of diacetyl in the nose, sweet maltyness. Light-bodied. Buttery notes, sweet malty, hints of bitterness and metal in the finish. Slightly unclean.

omhper (25256) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - NOV 18, 2013
Bottled, from Shkodër. Clear pale golden, mid sized head. Fruity corn aroma. Mid sweet with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. The most evident flavours are compost heap and boiled vegetables. Low bitterness. Not a good lager, even by Albanian standards.
