Bottle from King&Godfree. Nice super-malty beer. Aromas of nuts, caramel, and resin. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and average duration. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Amber, with a frothy head. jcweaver (768) - VA Beach, Virginia, USA - MAY 10, 2012
Bottle. Pours light brown with a medium off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with notes of hay and light citrus. Slightly sweet malt flavor with notes of hay and a surprising pine/citrus hop bitterness. Slightly bitter finish with distinct smoke notes. Interesting and tasty for the style.

Beautiful red-amber color with medium sized head. Aroma of malt, with some caramel. Good mouthfeel, round, with nice caramel and malt flavor, light smoke, correct bitterness.
Today’s 2nd beer is an Oktoberfest from Italy’s Birradamare: Birra Roma Ambrata. I picked up a six-pack on sale as some labels were scuffed, lucky me! 5.5% bottle from Rakuten. Drunk from a glass beer mug. An opaque nutty honey looking brown with a thick foamy head. Quite a fruity-wine like aroma reminiscent of Belgian yeast. A nice full bodied mouthfeel with some nutty, biscuity qualities & a touch of spicy smoke. I think Japanese people would call it "goku". The online reviews had me not expecting much so I was pleasently surprised! This is pretty tasty! A really solid beer. Davros (3212) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - APR 28, 2012
Pours mousse-like, settles to dark amber with an off-white head.
Nose shows caramel, bready malt, nutty notes and toffee.
Similar flavours, suggesting nutty chocolate cream, caramel and toffee. Very sweet.

0.33l bottle from #411. It’s a gusher! Saved by my kitchen sink. It has a nice deep peachy amber body packed with microscopic floaters floating about and a big, lasting light khaki-colored top. The smell has a smoky sweetness with caramel, red amber malts and a soft fruity touch as well. Not bad. It’s average to softly carbonated with a slick mouthfeel. Oh, really drinkable this. Soft red berries with a gentle caramel sweetness before a swiff of smoke finishes it off. There is also a hint of something acidic hidden in between the other flavors, and it also has something that reminds me of chocolate paper. A nice gentle tasty Italian. 19.10.2012 saxo (18945) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 10, 2012
Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, smoke, wood, fruits, nuts and hops. Christos (5860) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - MAR 31, 2014
Nice looking bottle, 330 ml, at home. Poured into a tulip glass. ABV 5.5%
Pours a deep red coloured beer, with lots of activity in it and a moslty clear body. Almost two fingers of off-white head, with very good retention, leaving light lacing around the glass.
Aroma of toasted grains, cooked vegetables and even some hints of coffee.
Taste of malts, cooked vegetables with the same notes of coffee and even some mocha, with a nice little bitterness on the aftertaste.
Medium body, average carbonation, quite dry on the palate.
I liked this one quite a bit, pleasantly surprised. thewolf (12635) - Kolding, DENMARK - MAR 19, 2012

Lovely hazy orange with an equally lovely, atying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, hay, light oranges. Medium carbonation, fine grainy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, grainy, light piney. Rather elegant for the style.
Bottle. Amber pour with a short, fizzy white head. Aroma is malty and sweet with fruit notes, caramel and light grassy hops. Taste is big caramel, fruit notes, sweet, chewy malt, soft bread notes and light grassy hops. Body is medium with a soft, fizzy carbonation. Ends with more sweet malt notes, toffee, caramel, candied fruit and light grassy hops.
