0.33l bottle from lotto 420. It’s a gusher! Not extreme, but definitely enough that I’m glad I opened it in the kitchen. It pours a fantastic looking heavy cloudy honey-colored body that’s literally glowing in the glass with a medium sized light bubbly and heavy lacing white top. On the nose it’s light malt-sweet, some thin fruitiness also. All in all quite subtle, and it smells like a softly sweetened and fruity pilsner really. It’s soft to average on the carbonation and light oily to watery on the mouthfeel. Really easy drinking’ this. A soft hoppy and floral bitterness all the way. Hint’s of something grassy and thin fruity. Nothing extraordinary, well except for the amazing appearance, but not horrible in the taste - considering it being an Italian pilsner that gushed. 19.10.2012 ClubGonzo (5685) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 29, 2012
Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen. Hazy orange body, big white head. Nose is mild sugary grainy tones, with hints of bitter grass and caramel. Taste is mild caramel and soapy hop tones. Hints of cinnamon and pine. Mellow carbonation and semi-full body. Smooth but boring. Rune (13372) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 1, 2012
Nice designed 330ml bottle, lotto 420, picked up at Vinmonopolet Valkendorf. Wispy and bubbly white head, some of it remaining. Unclear, golden coloured body. Fresh fruity smell with emphasis on peaches. Slightly spiced, grain-fruity taste, notes of apples and wheat. Modestly dry bitter ending. Lager-weissen impression with some interests (hotel room, Bergen 17.09.2012). Beer5000 (6674) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 26, 2012
330 ml bottle. Hazy golden body with a huge gushing tan head. Mild aroma of spices, fruity yeast and white sugar. Flavor is rather sweet, like white sugar, light malty and fruity yeast. Medium body with a short aftertaste that brings some bitterness to this beer. Drinkable but not very pilsner like and frankly quite boring.

Not what I would call a pilsner exactly, but more like an American Pale Ale. Darker, sweeter, pinier, and more complex like a well-made PA. This one comes with an outstanding head, with tightly-wound bubbles, that remain throughout the glass. Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - SEP 20, 2012
Pours a cloudy dull yellow ochre color with a touch of bubble and some webbing.... aromas are grainy malts and touches of honey and fruitiness....maybe gala apple? On the palate its cleaner than it looks with bready notes riding over a touch of noble style hops bringing out a bit of bitterness and a touch of floral flavors... finish is lacking, mouthfeel is a bit heavy for the style. yngwie (17173) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 8, 2012
Bottle. A gusher, producing a, dense, off-white head over an unclear, golden body. Fruity, lightly yeasty aroma with some white sugar. Peaches and orange. The flavour is pleasantly bitter, it’s dry on the palate, and nicely carbonated. White sugar, some yeast and coriander and a generic fruitiness too. Fruity and bitter finish. A decent one, but nothing impressive. 120908 TURDFERGUSON (4058) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - SEP 3, 2012
Bottle. Pours cloudy orange with thin off white lace and decent webbing but is way too cloudy for the style. Grainy nose, light black pepper, light banana, guava. Flavor is okay, quite grainy as well and the palate is almost syrupy which totally throws off the citrus and pine notes from the hops though tbey do linger a bit.

Grape & Gourmet, VA Beach 11.2oz ($4.20): Pours a darkish colour for a pils with a white head Aroma is grass, grain, and hops. Taste is much the same. This has a nice amount of hop bitterness and having this ice cold after the beach was pretty nice to say the least. Another good Italian pils.
