Pours a magnificient deep, metallic red with a giant, staying, creamy head. It is white, but there are tones of yellow and pink. Aroma is sweet, some red berries, red currants, peach, caramel, some apples. Full and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is mild, actually a bit underwhelming. Some yeast - like Tongerlo actually. The fruitiness gets more apparent as it settles. Light cherry and marzipan. Quite nice, actually.
cloudy orange, small off white head.
flowery aroma, a little citrussy.
flavor is fruity, dates, sweet dark fruity, ends slightly bitter. madsberg (11762) - Søborg, DENMARK - NOV 23, 2009
Bottled. Amber coloured. Very unclear. Huge light brown dense head. ARoma of lacto, fruits, light citrus and spice. Flavour of lacto and sourness, Grape, fruits, light caramel notable. MEdiu to full bodied. very dry. Grapish fresh end. Very nice and refreshing. deyholla (11486) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 5, 2011
Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a slight brown hue and a light brown head that lasts and laces nicely. Aroma has a slight wine note that combines surprisingly well with a strong sweet malt backbone with sweet grain and biscuit. Flavor began surprisingly wine forward with dry near tart red fruits that mellowed to allow caramel, biscuit and sweet grains come out for an interesting finish. Different but enjoyable.

Bottle, Dec. 23rd Beer Advent Calendar. Murky medium brown body crowned with a bubbly tan head that compresses into a half-inch mattress. Nice malty character here, yeasty, toasty, with sweet dates, crusty bread, and dark fruits all playing on the palate. Just a hint of sourness, maybe more of a lactic acidity providing a nice finish. Enjoyed it thoroughly. alexsdad06 (10265) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 12, 2016
Bottle from old notes. Pours a dark reddish color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, dark fruits, caramel, light roast, fruit skins, candi sugar, Belgian yeast, decent. Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 6, 2011
It’s unclear, red-brown with sediment and a creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, dark fruits, caramel and sweet coffee. The mouth-feel is slightly fizzy. The flavour is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, filled chocolates, dark fruits, light cocoa, and the finish is dry with a light bitterness.
