Cloudy dark amber, small offwhite head. Aroma is malty with caramel, dried fruit and vanilla. Caramely flavour, vinous cherries. Slightly oxidized but still quite nice.

Bottle from Steamworks Liquor Store, Vancouver
Hazy dark amber color with red shades. Good malty beer, sweet with the character of sweet Belgian beers, fruity, vinous, with a light acidity, a touch of spices, and the age adds a layer of interest.
After so many American beers, this is something different. Very good.

Thanks, Alex! Red and amber, no head. The aroma is fairly strong, light fruity notes, maybe peach. Has a tart accent up front, and a sweetish caramel and a dash of peachy acidity. It may be, just to me, starting to round into form.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark amber with a small beige head. Nose is quite spicy, with lots of ginger and cinnamon, some moderate tartness, and Belgian yeast. Flavour is fairly sweet, with raisins, tart red fruits, and light-to-medium spices. Somewhat cohesive -- strange amalgam of flavours. Not really my thing, but it’s done decently well.

Bottle. 9.0%. Best before 30.06.15. 10 cl. sample. Pours a hazy/murky amber/brown, with a light tan head. Sweet, bordering sugary, malty aroma. Fruity note as it warms, and a metallic overtone. Sweet, malty flavour with a spicy note. Fruity with a hint of orange. Tart finish with a sugary note, and a mild alcohol burn. Overall well-made and -balanced, but cloying. 01.05.15.
