Blend of Krisopolis (a new beer, that will be available in the future, fermented in barrels for 2 years, then Morello cherries are added to it), with a part of Ultima Luna (Barley Wine matured in Amarone barrels, with Marasca Morello cherries) and a part of young beer.

First brewed in 2009 and bottled in 2011.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2014 2011 Vintage, Bottle #0609
Tasted on 3/31/14 from a capped 375mL bottle purchased at Bruisin Ales, this was not a cheap one. Pours a bright, almost cranberry juice colored amber, letting just a tinge of light through, with a thin tan head that slowly recedes to very thin lace before completely disappearing. The nose is a very matured sour red wine vinegar with plenty of vanilla and cinnamon oak, vinous fruity sour cherry, there is some caramel malt to this, super complex with a touch of dried fruit oxidation (this really does remind me of an Amarone). The flavor is a bit sweeter, focused on the ripe cherry, caramel malt, dried fruit, vanilla and cinnamon oak, with the red wine vinegar, and some lemon citrus sour notes providing the mid-palate and then the sweeter dried Amarone notes returning on the back of the palate. The body is nearly full with lightly faint carbonation, a lot of oaky tannin, and a long complex finish that hits all of the nutty oxidation, sour, and sweet notes from the nose and the palate.

(Bottle) Red colour with brief, bubbly head. Fruity, acetic nose with notes of balsamic vinegar, caramel, cherries, oak wood, dried apricots, honey, hints of cinnamon and nuts. Fruity, tart taste with sour cherries, oak wood, balsamic vinegar, raspberries, dried apricots, honey, cinnamon and a sour, acetic finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Low bitterness. Tasty and fairly well balanced, despite the intense vinegar acidity. Nice one.

Cuvee 2010. Opened January 2017. Pours red amber with a no head. Aroma is vinous with clear cherry tones. Good. Tastewise its is on the sweeter side. Mildly sour with a long duration. It has some kind of smokey aftertaste as well. It reminds me of smoked food and whisky somehow. Lovely. Medium bodied, Sticky/oily texture, almost no carbonation. Would definitely recommend this one to those who love sour ales.

Na kranie w Craft&Draft Amsterdam: Piwo lekko metne w kolorze czerwono pomaranczowym nalewa sie praktycznie bez piany. W aromacie beczka, wisnie i ocet winny. W smaku zdecydowanie kwasne, sa tak samo wisnie i czerwone wytrawne wino. Praktycznie brak goryczki i wysycenie na srednim poziomie. Jesli ktos lubi mega kwasnosc to musi sprobowac.

BB log, bottle, hazy amber appearance with small to medium head. Notes of tart cherry, red wine, italian amaretto, vinegar, raisin and dark cocoa. Medium in body with plenty of tartness on the sides of tongue. Im enjoying this one for the most part.

375mL bottle, pours an opaque dark pinkish orange with almost no head. Aroma brings out lots of vinegary notes, stone fruits and acidity. Flavour is along the same lines, with stone fruits, vinegar and acidity on the finish. Perfumey, acetic finish. Solid stuff, albeit harsh.

Bottle - Sour acidic and Vinngar cherry. Cloudy maroon. Lots of sweet cherry acidity. A bit too much acidity and not enough complexity.
