Na kranie w Arendsnest Amsterdam: Piwo czarne z niezbyt obfita lekko zabarwiona drobnopecherzykowa piana. W aromacie dominuje czekolada i palone slody. Czuc tez wanilie i karmel. W smaku mamy dodatkowo creme brulee i cos w rodzaju mlecznej krowki. Lekko alkoholowa goryczka i wysycenie na srednio niskim poziomie.

Keg at Cause beer loves food, Amsterdam. Pours dark brown. Nose is syrupy sweet, dark malts, light liquorice. Taste is sweet milk chocolate and malts, roast. Very good sweet stouts, there is just something in the sweetness I do not like too much.

On tap @ Proeflokaal Arendsnest, Amsterdam - NL. Color: deep dark black beer with no carbonation and small brown head. Smell: nice roasted malt and coffee domiantion with small sweet and vanilla domination. Good balance. Taste: medium body with roasted malt and coffee notes, balanced with vanilla and caramel and fudge. Coffee finish. Aftertaste: vanilla, fudge and coffee. Bitterness. Amazing balance.

ON tap@ : pours deep black with creamy brown head. Aroma and flavors full of dark roasted malts, which takes on dark chocolate, coffee, supported with huge vanilla. finish is dry, body is full, thick, texture is creamy, carbonation is low.

On tap @ Arendsnest. This is a really dark and near black brown colored one with a tall lasting and lingering brown head, leaving lots of dots down the glass. It has a nose composed of vanilla, lots of dark bitter chocolate. I get tones of really black salty licorice and a little hint of burnt malt. Like it for sure. It has a medium oily texture in the mouth and its soft to average on the prickling carbonation. Sweetish and lactose milky. Lots of dark roasted malts, some traces of licorice and old coffee with cream. Not a massive success for my palate perhaps, but its scary well camouflaged for a 9.5 percenter. 24.09.2015

Aroma:
Slight/medium aroma of malts, caramel, vanilla, chocolate and roasted malts.

Appearance:
Opaque dark brown beer with a slight/medium beige/brown head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, vanilla and chocolate; ends slightly bitter and dry with roasted malts.

Overall:
This beer is intense, complex and balanced. Shamefully the aroma is so slight I can almost smell my damn upper lip more intense. Every other aspect of this beer is more than great however, so I can definitely recommend drinking it.
