Taster on tap at Ei8ht Ball... For $6 !!! The snifter price was $12 !!! Dayum, Ducato! Oh well, YOLO... Dark brown / red color, near black. Clear around the edges. Minimal ring of light brown head. Very tart blueberry nose in the aroma. Super big sour tart taste in the flavor. Very assertively sour, good blueberry flavor, chocolate... Chile pepper is very subtle, amidst the intensely big sour... But you feel it in your throat after the swallow. Nova was saying nail polish. Alden said Shelly spoke of Acetone... Kind of an acidic bite to this, but I don’t mind this at all.. Very big sour taste, light sweet. Bigger body, kind of sticky and slick. I like the tart acidic assertiveness of this sour. Very light carbonation. Really tasty, bold, interesting stuff to sip on. Just wish Del Ducato wasn’t so damn expensive, then I might be more inclined to try more of their bottles.. Tap. Poured a clear dark brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate to heavy tart fruit, sour and dark malt aroma. Medium to abundant body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy sour & tart flavor with a medium to heavy tart bite & sour finish of moderate to long duration. This is a standout beer for style. b3shine (9143) - Indiana, USA - NOV 26, 2013
Draft to taster at Ei8ht Ball. Looks solid; undercarbonated though. A fairly opaque dark cola with no real carbonation or lacing. Smells of heavy lacto and some blueberry. Tastes like it smells with what seems to be a touch of roast and/or smoke. Average on the palate. Not my favorite, and heartburn central. chef201atc (261) - Fort Worth, Texas, USA - OCT 13, 2013
Mouth numbing sour! Awesome! Under all that sourness is some dark fruit and a little of the oak it was aged in. What a great beer! barnstar13 (3) - - OCT 10, 2013 does not count
Incredibly sour with a terrific depth of flavors and aromas starts tart gets sweet, rich and chocolatey, with a finish that stings of tartness.

750 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with some purple highlights and a small beige head. The aroma and flavor is an interesting combination of stout and sour with the addition of blueberries and spicy peppers. Some of the roasty, chocolate stout notes are there; spicy peppers add some heat; the tart blueberry notes and mild acidity add another layer. I would drink this again. Trop vinaigré à mon goût, le fruit ne se manifeste pas comme je m’attendais. solidfunk (9407) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - SEP 12, 2013
Really comes together well. Looks like blueberry syrup with no head or lacing. Super sour, like unripe blueberries with malt. Light carbonation. Slightly syrupy consistency. On tap at Ebenezer Kezar’s. Blairgus (4615) - California, USA - SEP 7, 2013
7 sept 2013, tap. Dark brown/almost black. Nose is sour stout with faint hints of blueberries. Balsamic vinaigrette, faint heat, maybe some blue fruit. Great!

Bottle with Damico. Pours a dark brown color with a coffee colored head. Aroma of fruit with some slight yeasty funk. Tarty blueberry and other fruit notes. Interesting.
