Black with a small off-white head. Aroma is vinegar, thinner, faint notes of chocolate and dark berries. Taste is acidic, vinegar slight berries. Finish is very acidic, like pure vinegar but harsher...
At least they got the name right...
Acidic and burnt aroma, vinegar-y taste. So Acidic that my jaw clenched, I felt like a baby tasting lemon for the first time. Behind all the acid was something fruity, but it didn’t matter. omhper (25956) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - APR 15, 2015
Keg at Bishops Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm. Black, small coarse head. Vinegary nose. Very acidic with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Sour vinegar meets blueberries and chili. What a total trainwreck!!! Weirdest beer alive? Maxbier (1000) - Maryland, USA - APR 4, 2015
Blind taste (this was quite the experience blind). Notes: black with no head, just some bubbles on top. Aroma is red wine like, licorice, and whiskey barrel. Also something in the aroma is burning my nostrils (turns out that was the chills). Taste- very very tart, lips burn a bit. The finish is like a sweet and sour desert wine with some slight burning of chili. This beer starts out as sour as can be and fades to a vineaus spicy sweet finish. Very interesting and enjoyable.
