UPDATED: OCT 19, 2015 DAA; Bottle 33 cl., from Vinmonopolet. Pours moderate, hazy gold with a frothy, lacing and somewhat lasting white head. Nose is moderate, malt, wheat, stable, citrus, floral and spice. Taste is moderate sweet and bitter, balancing with a lasting floral finish. Body is medium, texture is oily , carbonation is soft. I like the warming floral touch.

Rating #1154 - 05.07.2014 - Bottle from CBI. Pours a lightly hazy yellow - bubbly white head. Aroma was light peppery rye, yeast esters. Medium carbonation, low-medium alcohol warmth. Palate is light wheat, pepper, spice, vanilla - finish leans too heavily - residual sweetness. Ok.

Part of a 10 euro, 6 beer blind tasting set at Trois 8’s biergarten event in Paris. An Italian Saison with rosemary, thyme & wheat in the nose. It’s made with 4 spices... what are the other two? It’s got a lovely soft body with a flavor that gives notes of nutmeg, pepper and camomille in the finish It reminds me of a honeyed bedtime camomille tea.

Tap at Erzbierschof Zürich. Distinct aroma of gingerbread and christmas holiday spices, yet not so much ginger itself. Taste of cinnamon, but without the burning sensation on the tongue that cinnamon has. Very tasty indeed!

Arômes de malt, citron, fleurs, sauge, persil. Très doux. En bouche, beaucoup d’epices séchées. Sauge, persil, muscade, clou de girofle. Un peu fruité, citron, banane, abricot séché. Faible amertume florale et légèrement épicée. Fin pétillement, texture légère. Une bonne bière légère et goûteuse.

Hazy golden color with big white head. Coriander, ginger, pepper, citrus aroma. Taste is quite rosemary-like, high fine-bubbled carbonation, very thirst-quenching, solid bitterness and spiciness in the finish. Nice work!

una bella dorata di ispirazione belga,ma molto facile da bere, speziata ma non invadente...sentori di camomilla e un finale pulito e piacevole ,bevuta al Bastian contrario di parma in bottiglia

33cl bottle, served in "weird glass" in a bar @ Rome (April 2015 notes). Pours clear golden, more on the yellow side, with small white head. Overall a pretty standard saison in both flavour and aroma: the yeast dominates, even though it doesn’t say anything about it...curiously. No spices, but definitely some banana (probably thanks to the wheat). Pleasant bitter aftertaste. Medium body, average carbonation. Nice beer, yeah.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a hazy gold with a soft white head that dissipates fairly quickly, leaving a nice rim around the glass throughout. Nice spice aromas: nutmeg, coriander and clove with some lemon and orange as well. Good carbonation with a light to medium body. Taste is more of the same with some tart yogurty notes that come out as well. Really unique saison with a finish that is tart a tad sweet almost like lemon meringue. Crisp, dry and refreshing finish.
