Inspired to the Belgian Saison, the nose is complex and delicate. This beers citrus and pepper aromas come from its extraordinary yeast strain. Its dry, bitter finish makes it quenching and easy to drink despite its fairly high alcohol content. It is hard to forget

This beer is the evolution of the Blonde transformed into a true Saison. The inspiration came while drinking some new generation Belgian beers where the addition of Poperinge hops completed the already unusual character of this beers yeast strain. Its extremely slow fermentation occurs under unusual temperatures causing the yeast to produce its citrus and pepper nuances, delivering the beer its great freshness and bite. Adding a small amount of sugar during the boil gives a nice dry finish.

Easy to drink and seductive, when timed correctly this beer has emotional satisfaction. In the summer time, when I come home after a long day of work and the sun has not fully set yet, I enjoy having an appetizer on the balcony while the hills and the sky go from pink, to red into orange. During moments like these Saison is my treasured companion. I drink at least a 25oz bottle and often more!

Bottle from Tanakaya. Poured into a Duvel glass. Slightly hazy orange gold color with a huge soapy head that dissipates and leaves a thin layer on top. Nose has the classic saison yeast aroma with some peach, pear and passion fruit along with some arugula. Taste is more of the same with the pear standing out on the initial taste. A little bit of sweetness comes in the middle with a great peppery finish. Finishes dry and peppery (almost chilli pepper like). Average carbonation with a medium light body. This is a wonderful saison.

330 ml bottle. Slightly unclear golden body with a long lasting, big, foamy white head. Mild aroma of malt, herbs and yeast. Quite light and delicate in flavor, mild malt, spices, yeast and moderate bitterness. Medium body and nice in aftertaste. A pretty classic Saison, nice and easy.

[email protected] - cloudy orange beer with a chaotic foam left; light sourish aroma of pineapple and peaches; fairly carbonated, a good malt backbone; assertive and decently sour; dry fruity (apples, peaches) finish with lingering sourish notes - pretty much character
