COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imperial stout aged for at least 6 months in barrels of whiskey from Scotland’s best distilleries (each batch is bottled from a single cask of that year and the area of origin is indicated on the label). It has aromas of vanilla, licorice, chocolate, wood and peat alternating alcoholic and ethereal nuances. In the mouth, warm and soft, complex but balanced: an unforgettable experience. Aged in Speyside Scotch barrels from 1969.

Ingredients: Water, malt, hops, yeast, spices.

PowY (883) - AUSTRIA - FEB 20, 2017
330 ml bottle. Matured in barrels from 2003, bottled 2013 - 10.0% ABV. Pours a pitch black with no head. The aroma is very woody, with whisky, vanilla, dried dark fruits (figs and plums) some roasted malt in the background. Full flat body with a full but soft texture. The taste is only moderately sweet with a light bitterness in the finish. The flavor is again very woody with strong whiskey notes - smoke, wood some alcohol - but still balanced and with some roasted malt in the end. Still the aftertaste is nearly the same to drinking whisky with spicy notes on the tongue.
