Tap @ TCBW2015. Pours dark brown with medium brownish head. Aroma of roasted malts, paprika powder, dark chocolate, coffee. Taste is roasted, coffee, dark chocolate, medium chilli taste, some chilli sourness also. Medium + body, soft carbonisation. Chilli-spicy finish. Nice one.

So this is the chili version? Tap at Tallinn Craft Beer Weekend 2015. Dark brown, head creamy beige and with good retention. Nose is at first subtle and chocolaty, and intensifies later on. No spiciness. Tastes very chocolaty and roasty with a lot (!) of warming chili in the mid-taste and finish. Almost a nice balance despite the harsh, killer finish. In the context of a beer festival I should’ve had this as the last beer but oh well. Intense stuff. I quite liked it but had to pour away most of it... Sry, brewer!

Handpump / cask @ Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fa, Rome. According to the tender at Ma Che Siete this was a spiced version with chilli added. Pours black with a huge light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, rich dark chocolate, little caramel, dark fruits, some hints of chilli, alcohol. Flavor is malty, dark chocolate, caramel, dark fruit, raisin, chilli (abit to much imo) Medium body, soft carbonation, lasting chilli heat. 080414
