Bibock® is a slightly amber, low fermentation beer produced by way of decoction and with 6.2% alcohol by volume (16 Plato degrees), full-bodied but dry and fairly bitter. The recipe, developed at Birrificio Italiano® of Lurago Marinone, was freely inspired by the best Bock beers of German tradition.

33cl bottle-tight retaining lt tan-amber. A-fruity, some spice, a bit of fish/peach pith. T-lt/med sweet malt, some citrus.

Draught at Open Baladin Torino. Pours clear brown with a large, frothy off-white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is moderate rich bready malt, light kettle caramelization with dates and medium earthy hops. Flavor is moderate rich bready malt, light kettle caramelization with dark fruits, medium earthy and spicy hops and bitterness with a medium dry finish. Medium-full body and medium carbonation.

Bottle 0.33L. Deep amber body with a huge, frothy, tan head, mostly lasting with nice lacing. Moderate malty (caramel, bread) aroma with light notes of red fruits. Moderate sweet and light bitter flavour; average-lasting sweet finish. Medium body with oily texture; soft carbonation.

UPDATED: AUG 3, 2017 Amber liquid with white head. Aroma has some yeast, some malt, smoke. Taste is slightly fruity, some caramel, little licorice. Little sweet, little bitter, some more bitterness at aftertaste. Very drinkable. Good beer.

330ml bottle. Pours clear amber colour, small beige head, stays as ring. Sweet malty, raisiny, bready, sweet aroma. Taste is malty sweet, creamy. Silky creamy texture, medium bodied, below average carbo. Watery aftertaste. Interesting and drinkable, easy brew.

330ml bottle. Hazy dark golden color. Medium size, thick white head, stays. Metallic, grainy, citrus, dusty in aroma. Dusty, grainy, metallic, chalky in taste. Dusty and grainy and metallic hops in aftertaste. Fizzy carbonation. Simple, but watery. Drinkable brew.

Bottle (from Koht). Pours amber with huge beige head. Aroma is grainy, malty, cardboard, some sour almost acetone like notes. Flavor is sweet and bitter, some sourness, grainines, maltiness. Finish has some dryness. Carbonation is crisp. Overall: feels slightly off, but otherwise ok brew.

Bottle. A really good, interesting and unusually hoppy hellerbock. Heavy woody and marzipan-like maltiness. Also notes of herbs and grapefruit.

Prodotta per infusione di malti d’orzo tipo Pilsener, Munchen e speciali, viene fermentata con un lievito di bassa alquanto particolare e capriccioso, che regala però eleganti e inusuali note di frutta fresca. Luppoli tedeschi da amaro e dosi massicce di Styrian Golding donano un tocco nobile all’aroma; completato da un leggero dry hopping con miscela anglo-tedesca.
