Skyview (6021) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - FEB 22, 2008
Sampled at Cellars Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN, and shared by brewfiend. Pours a semi-hazy golden brew with an average off-white head that quickly dissipates to a fine film. Aroma of light golden grain malt, some citrus zest and grassy hop character and a touch of apricots. Taste is medium bodied, some light carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt, some citrus hops, white grape and some fruity pear. Finish is semi-sweet, fruity aftertaste that slowly disappears with a light grapefruit finish.

Courtesy of Brewfiend. Hazy gold color with a medium head. Strong citrus hop aroma. Very fruity taste, predominantly grape, grapefruit and tangerine. Quite unusual, but good.

Angeloregon (2055) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 24, 2007
From a pricy big bottle purchase at Belmont Station--Poured a medium copper amber body with a mild white head that dissipated but left da ecent to low head. Honey nose with fruity watery mild complex lovin texture. I drank a few glasses and loved it! Go for it if you can afford it.

Perkeo (322) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 4, 2007
Bottle from Belmont station. Hazy gold with some pink, sort of looks like it turns into a big gooseberry in the middle, if that makes any sense. Some apricot in the nose, bay laurel, leather? heather?? grape?? Drying acidity with great subtle complexities, floral, but not sickly, definitely some rye in the flavor, light yet still satisfying. I’m somewhat dazzled!

fonefan (49293) - VestJylland, DENMARK - DEC 2, 2007
Draught @ L’Isola della Birra, Milan, Italy. Unclear light amber / orange color with a average to large, creamy / frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white head. Aroma is light malty, fruity, light hoppy, roses, honey, pepper, elderberry. Flavor is moderate sweet and light hoppy, light light fruit acitic with a average duration. Very nice and refreshing. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. ;o)) (051107)

Birra dell’Anno Awards 2007, Milan. Hazy pale yellow colour. Now this is a light bodied beer with low aroma profile. Taste is very different, with innovative additions that gives a balanced pepper backbone, with notes of light almond paste and flowers. Maybe maybe the violets are noticed here. Body is light and there are no signs in flavour from the hops. Fresh beer all in all, and probably good as a session beer.

Scauca (490) - Lovere, ITALY - NOV 15, 2007
Pinky-apricot appearance with thick lacing white head. What if not flowery, bit spicy and sweetie, with a slight acidic refreshing note. Not much to mention for what concern flavours: peppery, fruity and obv flowery. Rather simple but really clean and enjoyable in mouth. Quite hard to brew, i suppose. Definitely the beer your wife sip while you’re trying to empty the umpteenth glass of Tipopils.

Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 6, 2007
Draught at the brewery. Cloudy amber pour covered with the usual Birrificio Italiano charming and enormous, firm, lasting white head. Highly perfumey aroma, almost explosive. It is hard to believe that this holds under 4% ABV. Rosewater and lightly honeyed, toasted maltiness. A most original effort, sensuously sweet and flowery, grainy and with a certain refreshing tartness. Not as complex as its ingredients’s list, but very easy to drink and surely well integrated. I’ll try again from the bottle and will adjust my opinion accordingly, because this is the kind of beer that you rarely face.

KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 29, 2007
On tap at Isola ella Birra, Milan. Flowery, perfumes, rather sweet. Recommended with strudel, the menu says, yes perhaps. A fine beer for summer sipping, not intrusive, but it is a bit too anonymous to make great marks. Soft is the word. Violets, peaches, a hint of sourness in the tail

larsga (7539) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 28, 2007
Small creamy shiny lasting white head. Hazy opaque amber body. Vague fruity malty aroma. Mealy watery fruity taste with hoppy notes. Aftertaste just fades out. Slightly muddy mouthfeel. It’s OK, but very boring. (0.35l draft at Isola della Birra, Milan.)
