Pours a three-finger smooth off-white head that barely fades leaving a good lace. Cloudy amber color, ton of yeast settles to bottom. Yeasty/citrusy nose. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Starts tart maybe an apple flavor, hard to pin down, finish is sour. Good bottle to split with your beer partner. Pricey - $16.99 for a 1L bottle from Tully’s Beer & Wine Wells, Me.

Courtesy TheCheeseMan. Strange, strange, strange. I have come to expect nothing less from this new wave of funky Italian brews. Pours a cloudy tangerine gold with a foamy, off-white head. Virtually no lacing noted. The nose shows a funky vinegar base, with an odd, briny note of green olives. Aromas of herbal tea sweetened with a touch of honey emerge, with a light dusting of cracked black pepper adding a dry spiciness. Flavors are primarily the same, bordering on a salty feel from the olive notes. The pepper content is a highlight, spicy but not overpowering, serving as a nice counterpart to the sweet herbal tea. Light bodied and very dry, it goes down easy but leaves the mouth slightly parched. Weird little brew, but interesting.

[email protected] 2nd ES/CS Beer Tasting. (thanks MM!). Slightly hazy ambery orange colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is fruits, rather peppery along with some grassy and yeasty notes. Flavour is quite similar. The pepperyness leaves a nice burning aftertaste.

Pale with a yeasty earthy aroma - olives? Very earthy flavor with some sweetness. Notes aren’t very good - this was from a mass tasting.

Bottle @ YNWA, Kolding.
Pours muddy yellow with practically no head. Aroma is lemony, lightly tart. Good deal of oranges and floral notes. Low carbonation, okay mouthfeel. Flavour is soft, lightly fruity tart, oranges, wood and brett. Light dryness. Okay, but not terribly balanced.

Bottle courtesy of argo0. Cloudy, somewhat dull orange with an off-white/grayish head. Interesting nose of roses and grandma’s perfume. Tart fruitiness, medium sourness/funk along with notes of roses (and other flowers I can’t quite identify), light cherry and some wood character. Pretty dry. Medium to lighter bodied with moderate carbonation. An adventurous and fun brew, even though I didn’t quite love it - definitely worth a try.
