Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, spices, light to moderate yeasty, christmas spices. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, spices. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottled. An unclear brown beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of spices among them cloves, as well as medium notes of smoke and vinegar - messy impression. Bottle 75 cl. RBESG Rome 2010. Pours a cloudy and opaque brown with an off-white head. Aroma of dried fruit - perhaps even overripe fruit - roasted malt and Belgian yeast. Medium body, sweet dried fruit and again Belgian yeast and a little spices. Some alcohol in the finish. Bottle at Churchkey. Hazy chestnut color, small edge head, scant lacing. Aroma of butterscotch, dishwashing soap, licorice candy. Taste is licorice and root beer candy. Body is slightly syrupy and oily. Interesting.

5th June 2010. Bottle at Sforno Pizza Restaurant. Cloudy brown beer. Little apologetic head. A little hop on the nose. Light dry frothy palate. It’s a little sour with a coca cola streak. Hazy brown color.light caramel and spice aroma. Sweet beer, caramel flavor, with some chocolate. The spices appear, gently, mostly in the end. Pleasant.

Bottle. Christmas 2012. Pours muddy brown. Nose and taste of caramel toffee, fig, spices, dark fruit and nuts. Heavy on the malt. Slightly less than medium body. A little sticky. No noticeable alcohol.
