Pours a murky brown with no head. Smells funky and woody, with sour notes and a hint of chocolate. Woody funkiness in flavor. Sour and cocoa with lots of oak flavors. Some creaminess, hops, and a bitter bite at the end.

Bottle shared by beerloco. Pours muddy brown. Nose and taste of cocoa, barrel, chocolate malts, spices and cereal. Moderate tartness almost like an old brune due to the barrel aging. Almost like an Italian Sour barley wine. Interesting.
