Birra scura con profumi tostati e note speziate provenienti dall’avena, il tutto intensificato dall’aroma balsamico di rosmarino selvatico del circeo, corpo medio e sensazione vellutata, schiuma persistente e omogenea, un leggero amaro nel finale ne rendono grande la bevibilità e adatta a tutti i momenti della giornata nella più classica tradizione delle oatmeal stout.

aspetto bellissimo..scurissima con schiuma nocciola molto persistente e densissima (altro che guinness....) aroma dominato dagli amari del malto tostato e dalle classiche note tostate e di caffè..corpo pieno e gusto amaro derivante dal luppolo sicuramente ma probabilmente derivante anche dall’uso del rosmarino siccome non sono riuscito a ricollegarlo a luppoli assaggiati precedentemente (magari sono nuovi..)..col tempo sviluppa aromi e gusto più decisi e piacevoli.. bevuta all’elfo!

33cl Bottle @ 32GreatPower, Seville, Spain. Dark brown colour with thick tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, bread, caramel, cocoa, herbs, slightly piney. Taste is roasted malt, sweet, milk chocolate, slightly piney and spicy. Medium body, average carbonation.

Una buona oatmeal stout. Il profumo di tostato è equilibrato e l’utilizzo del rosmarino, pur non sentendosi molto, lascia un leggerissimo aroma balsamico. Bevuta leggera, dissetante e poco impegnativa.

Draught @ Hoppy Days. Clear dark brown to black color with a dark red glare coming through, full sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, rosemary, sweetish. Well done I think but not my thing.

On tap at Hoppy Days, Amsterdam. Body is nearly black, head is big, brownish, rocky, fully lasting, excellent lacing. Nose is roasty, flavor is coal, rosemary, ash, coffee, molasses. Medium sweet, medium to heavy bitter. Finish is medium lasting roasty medium bitter. Full body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Good dessert beer, interesting.

On [email protected] Days. 20cl sample. The aroma has roast, bit chocolate, caramel and a definate hint of rosemary. Black coloured beer with a thin, off-white head. The taste is light sweet, bit bitter, has chocolate, rose mary, some fruity tones. Easy drinking beer.
