330 ml bottle. L014. BB 04/14. From Italy. Courtesy of Brandman. Dark brown colour with a red hue and tiny tan head. The aroma is... interesting. Or weird? Hmmm... interesting it is. Roasted malt, berries and lots of spices. Rosemary I presume. Could be also something else. I'm not that much of a cook myself. The flavour is much more heavily roasted malt, hoppy bitterness (a bit harsh) and a touch of coffee. After the interesting aroma the flavour is a bit ordinary. Not bad but not that inspring. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl bottle @ Il Prestesto, Bologna. BB 04/2014. Brune foncée, col fin beige disparaissant vite.

Borresteijn (7172) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 12, 2014
UPDATED: OCT 18, 2014 On tap at Hoppy Days. Black colour, dense creamy beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, mocha, coffee beans. Flavour is medium sweet, roasted malts, bitter chocolate, mocha, burnt caramel, nice malty bitter finish. Medium-bodied, very tasty. Not much rosemary detected. Re-rate, second glass a week later, fresh keg I guess: Lots of rosemary in both aroma and taste, light resinous, it does dominate here a bit too much. Still really nice though.
